Unmerited Favor

I sent dozens of letters about ‘Call us Gifted’ to many publishers. All said, no or did not respond.

Then one emailed me back and simply said. ‘Send me the manuscript’. It was from the head of publishing for one of the top talent agencies in the world. Talent agencies represent star athletes, speaking engagements, movie and TV stars, etc.

I was in a state of euphoria that caused so much elation that it was difficult to come down from ‘the high’.

His email to me was very kind. He liked my work and said, ‘I am a good writer.’ Others tell me they like the transparency and ‘raw and authentic’ writing style.

Another writer, who is a friend, searched the internet and was dumbfounded. He said, ‘Do you know who you are dealing with?’

Unmerited favor does not come from within. When it occurs, I know I had ‘nothing to do with it’. Yet, I was given favor I did not deserve. Sometimes, many times a day, something profound emerges.

I called the talent agency and the head of publishing’s executive assistant said he was in his office reading the ‘Call us Gifted’ manuscript as we spoke.

Whenever unmerited favor appears, it is a gift I can’t take credit for and don’t deserve. Many times, I get unmerited favor several times a day. My LinkedIn posts are spontaneous, and the content just flows. I give credit to God. I do not know who else would give me a gift of unmerited favor

When unmerited favor occurs, it gives me great joy. It generally comes when I’m not dealing with Creative Logic LLC.

Just this morning I thought, ‘I might denote images that are in the Creative Logic patent in the sequel ‘Dyslexic Disruption’.

The head of publishing took the time to write a long email, that was very thoughtful, compassionate and touching. But ‘From a business point of view, I was in a highly competitive market and did not have enough followers.’

You can help change that.

In the next post(s), I will describe what a social media campaign is. Its purpose is to drive more traffic to thecreativelogic.com website. It would also challenge my followers to repost, their favorite post(s), on LinkedIn. And ask readers to give star ratings on Amazon. Currently, we have one.

BUT don’t do it yet! We have laid out a strategy, we will present, that will give you an incentive to help drive traffic to social media channels and increase the number of followers.

My, extended Creative Logic, team consists of mentors, advanced readers, patent and trademark attorneys, branding agents, website developers, publisher’s and social media experts that are the best. this is the orchestra. We still need an ambassador and pioneer.

I just play the violin.

As always, thank you for your support!
